Hi there!
My name is Arden (he/they), I am 26, and come from Ticino. ^^
I am one half of the core team of OKONOMICOS, a little local artists' collective.
We are honored to visit for the first time Chibi-Con this year and cannot wait to meet you all!

I started cosplaying as a kid but left the hobby around 2018 when my health declined.
Through my friendship with Lemon (the other half of OKONOMICOS), and the support of my long-term partner and care team, in 2022 I managed to regain some fine motor skills and start making costumes again!

I had the unexpected honor in 2024 to represent Japan Matsuri at PSCL with Megurine Luka racing 2017, which was an amazing experience!

What I love most about cosplaying is to meet and have the chance to socialise with the niche part of fandom so positively obsessed with something to feel the need to build a costume, the constant problem solving challenges that come with any build, and, more than anything, the amazing community around these spaces.
The röstigraben will not stop us this year!!

Fun facts include:
- I am autistic and a synesthete; I see colors when I hear sounds
- My favourite tv series is "Dr. Who" and my favourite anime series is "Mononoke" (the 2007 horror anthology spin off of Ayakashi samurai ghost)
- I am a diehard fan of the british podcast "The Magnus Archives"
- I am severely nearsighted
- I am finishing an MA in philosophy and comparative literature at UZH (so I will talk your head off about headcanon theories as if my life depends on it)
